Course Structure
Day 1 – Online Welcome & Core Theory
Before attending in person, students complete an online welcome day covering all essential theory, allowing in-person training to focus fully on practical skills.
Online modules include:
Health & safety and infection control
Contraindications and client suitability
Consultation process
Hair loss types and causes
Scalp and skin basics
Patch testing and aftercare
Day 2 – In-Person Catch-Up & Practical Foundations
The first in-person day begins with a brief recap of the online learning, ensuring clarity and confidence before moving into practical work.
Focus areas:
Health & safety refresher
Consultation walk-through
Equipment setup and product knowledge
Demonstration of core techniques
Guided hands-on practice
Days 3 & 4 – Hands-On Practical Training
These days are fully dedicated to practical learning and confidence building.
Students will:
Develop core and advanced techniques
Work through real-life scenarios
Learn how to adapt for different clients and hair loss types
Build speed, accuracy, and confidence
Online Learning & At-Home Practice
After each in-person training day, additional videos and modules are unlocked to support continued learning at home.
These resources help students:
Practise on their doll’s head
Prepare for their first client maintenance appointment
Follow clear, step-by-step guidance outside the classroom
All maintenance procedures are taught thoroughly during practical training and supported with online resources.
Day 5 – Return Day: Second Maintenance Appointment
The return day is a key part of the course and focuses on the second maintenance appointment, when the system is removed, the scalp is assessed, and the system is refitted.
This stage can feel daunting for new practitioners, so students complete this process with full guidance and support in a calm, structured environment.
